Stockton California may not the top the list of prominent musical cities, but the port city emcee Carlos "Los" Bryant has a different outlook of his hometown. To some, it is more famous for its violence than its violins, but Los is looking to change that. "Stockton," Bryant states, "is dangerous and beautiful at the same time." No stranger to difficult circumstances, Carlos lost his father at age 11 but uses his past experiences as musical motivation.
When he is not in the studio Carlos is managing his other business, a Mexican taco truck named Las Maris. This understanding of the hustle required to create something from nothing was the foundation of his new single "M's" featuring Stockton's own Haiti Babii. The project is called "Like Never B4" and features four tracks each with their own feel. "Electricity" is Bryant's first self produced track and features a nu-disco hip/hop groove. BREAK and Don't Lie bring emotional weight to the project and showcase Los's lyrical range. Carlos always wants his fans to think and feel good when listening to his music, Like Never B4 is no exception.
